BEWARE OF DOGS and TIKONA BROADBAND

Dear Sir, I subscribed to Tikona Broadband on 06.03.2011. .I was promised that the Broadband would be installed on 07.03.2011.However, after lot of follow-up it was finally installed on 10.03.2011 morning with wires in shambles.


Anyway, after that the account is yet to be activated even after 13 days. I was following with their customer care as well as sales person who had visited prior to installation, but of no avail. When I call customer care they just do not have clue except making silly excuses that there is technical problem and keeps on making promises that he will get it resolved soon (within 24 hours and those 24 hours never ends). When I called their Customer Care Centre yesterday (22.03.2011).


I was told that my cheque has bounced on 09.03.2011 and hence account could not be activated. I clearly told that guy that bouncing of cheque is impossible as I have adequate funds in my account as well as there was no cutting or overwriting on the cheque. He still kept on harping on the issue of bounced cheque. The amount of Rs. 3639/- paid vide cheque was debited to my account on 10.03.2011.


Those stupid fellows keep on making false promises and lying again and again on one prertext or other. Now, I have requested them to close my account immediately and refund complete amount as account was never activated at all . I do not know how much years they wll take to refund the amount . Their Compliance Officer, one Mr. Nagesh Prasad does not even bother to reply to your e-mail and sit on the issues merrilly. I am also planning to file a separate complaint with Ministry of Consumer Affairs.
