TIKONA broadband is a LOOT...

I had tikona’s connection before around June 2011. My service ID is 1104167787.


On making payment of rs.1000 as deposit, an executive came for connection, however he was not able to make the connection. And I was billed amount of rs.781/-For the usage even when they had not connected the device.


Since no connection was done even after twenty days I requested for disconnection in august 2011 by email and requested them to return the deposit amount.


Got no response for the same hence I sent mother email in October 2011 requesting for disconnection and return of deposit on ID. Nodal. To:


nodal.Mumbai@tikona.In and customer are@tikona.In , the disconnection request ID is 1934422916 .I was harassed by call center employees for the payment of rs.781/- After which I said they could adjust the deposit amount and close my account permanently.They DID not respond to any of the emails above.


Today dated out of nowhere on January 10 2013.I got a call from the number 09782280568 stating he is lawyer for tikona and I have outstanding balance of rs.1680/- And if I do not deposit the amount until 5 pm he would file an fir against me in Delhi and I would have to she’LL out rs.50, 000/- And follow up with the court.


I called up the call center stating that I have closed the account and how is it possible that I have and outstanding amount.I was shocked by the reply saying he has not received any of the email requesting for disconnection and that the account was not terminated as I had thought.


I think it is tikona’s bossiness module to make an earning.Get the customer to register once and harass them for lifetime.If this is not sorted out soon I wouldn’t mind filing an fir against the company. Going by other complaints, I know I would have lot many on supporters for the same.


Rather than filing complaints against customers, they shud try and improve upon.
