Yet another cheater in market

I am from Hyderabad .I took tikona 2MBps 5GB limit  CB 499 plan (with tax around 550) 2 months back their installation charge was Rs550. I will not get into their installation circus. many have already explained in this forum.after few shouting on customer care person at last  tikona  person came with router.


Before taking connection I had inquired with them about the extra usage charge after 5 GB limit , for that tikona person told me that my connection speed will be reduced to 64 Kbps after I exceed the limit  but I will not get any bill above Rs 550 /month .Since I knew very well all the plans which have extra usage charge customer will end up paying huge amount, So I clarified this point again and again.And I clearly told them If I get any bill above Rs 550 I will not pay


They didn’t send 1 st month bill but I used to get the SMS to remind me to pay the bill. After few more shouting on customer care they sent me a bill of Rs.792.(customer asking the service provider to send the bill there was no communication from their side!!!!) I thought that bill for 40 days (still not sure) ..because I got that bill after 40 days and I paid that amount. Let me not get into detail of how convenient options they have to pay the bill my bank  was not listed in their online facility


Then I got second month bill this time they sent me the bill for Rs 678 in that I saw extra usage of 889 MB and they had charged Rs 88 and what more bill itself came with additional charge of Rs 25 for delayed payment (Very unique feature of tikona..they delay to send the bill to customer and then customer has to pay delayed charge for their delay ...)


I called Tikona Customer care and told , what Tikona person in hyderbad explained me about the plan ..even after confirming 3 to 4 times that there wont be extra usage charge in this plan they have sent me a bill for extra usage ..for this customer care person apologized and said there is extra usage charge and bill can go upto maximum of Rs999..I told because they promoted it as Rs 550 package only I took their connection .etc.. they offered me another plan which I declined.


then they told me that person will come with my dues and he will take the router..I asked them to refund my Rs 550 because they cheated me I disconnected the connection in 2 months which they declined.


Thing is I am not going to pay my bill of last month if they don’t change it to Rs 550 and unless they refund my Rs 550 they are not going to get their device back .. I don’t like to be one more victim of their.


Speed was good, connection was good because their tower was next to my room. Customer care guy was nice and every time apologetic (I feel bad for those guys who get all shouting for companies mistake)
