8 days since I have been using my Tikona BB, and I must say that I am really happy with what I have.
Downloaded about 100 MP3 songs. A 4-5MB file would download in under 10 seconds - that’s a real speed between 3-4 Mbps. Well a few of the songs of about 9MB took close to a minute to download - that is a speed of under 1.5Mbps, but then I understand that it depends on the server I am downloading from and so many other factors, and those were really exceptions.
One other major thing that I wanted to do and was never able to complete with my old MTNL connection was to update my laptop’s Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. That is a download of 3.6GB. Believe me, I was able to complete the download in about 3 hours. Would come to roughly about 3Mbps speed for the entire duration. and I am really more than satisfied.
