Worse service and even pathetic customer care

I opted for tikona thinking that it will make my entire home wi-fi enabled and i dont have to spend on wi-fi access points and other stuff. I also allowed tikona to install their ap in my terrace.


Their sales rep came to my after 10 days. He told me that since there are signals they will install ap and other devices in terrace. In return i will get free connection. I agreed. They were prompt to install ap. In that they screwed the entire look of my terrace. They digged 8 inch long holes and abt 10mm dia.. Still i thought it was good price to pay.


But i was wrong. They never come for installation. I had to fought with them. After a month or so i got call that somebody will visit for isntallation. After paying installation charges, installation engineer took 45 days to visit. He was at my home for 4 hours and could not start it. He got all sort of errors and told me that thats ok. Worse part, he barely connect it to the server and usage showed few mbs for opening google only once.


In the mean time i was mailed many mails to appellate authority without any resposne. Finally i had mailed them that i am selling of their ap and other deivces. No response. After another 15-20 days, i switched off ap and then they started moving. They come to my place to inquire about status. This for other client to whom they provided service based on ap installed in my terrace. Id dint budge them and got from appellate authority. I explained him and he sounded that he was not knowing anything. I told him that i have sent at least 10mails to him. He also connected me to some engineers and area manager. Nothing happen. It lasted abt 30 minutes and hten asked them tos olve problem internally and then call me. 20 days passed no response yet.


This is the service. Opt for tikona if you have following:




  1. Lot of spare time and you dont have anything else to do




  2. Lots and lots of energy to convince them for the problem




  3. Idle money to waste






I am using hathway and airtel in my office and extremely satisfied.


I opted for tikona as mtnl stopped working and they asked 2000 for new wiring. I now have tata at home on the same wires on which mtnl refused..


I had to give 1* as this site don’t allow anything below it. Further i also asked few other users and all have problem with tiikona. It is hard to get connected. And once it gets disconnected then god help you as re-connection takes min 15 minutes.
