TikTok is the destination for short-form mobile videos.


Tik Tok(formerly known as musical.ly) is a social media platform for creating, sharing and discovering short music videos, think Karaoke for the digital age. The app musical.ly was used by young people as an outlet to express themselves through singing, dancing, comedy, and lip-syncing.


he main purpose of Musical.ly was user-generated videos that combined popular songs with videos from the users(often called Musers). The most popular use of the app was to create videos where they were lip-syncing and dancing. . Within a year, the TikTok app had more than 100 million users.


But aside from its potential security risks, TikTok may not pose


a direct and serious threat to young users who post videos of


themselves singing, dancing and performing inexplicably funny


skits.


How safe is TikTok? Using any social network can be risky, but it’s possible for kids to safely use the app with adult supervision(and a private account). When you sign up for TikTok, your account is public by default, meaning anyone can see your videos and location information.


The reasons are twofold and are stated below: But once you are eligible, you’ll have no issue in creating an account. You’re above the eligible age and STILL facing the issue. Clearing the cache of the App should solve the issue on all types of phones


Another thing that makes the app so addictive is the length of the videos. TikTok videos aren’t usually longer than 30 seconds, making them really easy to consume at all times. well, TikTok Became one of the famous application among the people for new and more creations on the screen.


Rumours of TikTok’s demise appear to have originated off the back of the recent announcement that the US Navy has banned its personnel from using the app on government-owned phones over cybersecurity fears.

Google Play and the App Store. . On 25 April 2019, the ban


was lifted after a court in Tamil Nadu reversed its order of


prohibiting downloads of the app from the App Store and


Google Play, following a plea from TikTok developer Bytedance


Technology.
