I had taken an off during a weekday on the 14th of May 2009 to visit the place. Since it was on a weekday I thought that it would not be so crowded.but I was wrong. The list of woes goes as follows:
At the manpada signal, where you take a left for the place, there was no direction board facing the visitors who come from the Thane direction. The board was godhbunder facing.
The water was not clean. ended up with rashes.
way too much crowd. There was hardly any place to play in the pool.
The slides were good but the staircase to the top is not designed well so you reach the top puffing and panting.
The amusement park rides were substandard. not-so-Giant ferris-wheel, long wait lines for car-bumping(for lack of any other amusement, most people would line up for the bumping cars)
eatables were atrociously expensive!
I feel that other resorts like The Woods and Paranomic resort were better comparing the rates.
The only good thing about Tikuji-ni-wadi was the proximity to the city. Cannot say the entey fee of Rs.300 was reasonable as they make it up by overcharging for the food!(bags checked for tiffins)
