TimesJobs.com has 2 premium career services- Magic Resume and ResumeZapper. MagicResume promises to deliver modified resume within 48 hours. ResumeZapper sends your resume to 1250+ consultants. Here is my feedback about this service:
1) Very quick in collecting money. There will be multiple follow up calls till you have made the payment. The moment your payment reaches, they will simply disappear.
2) Don’t trust the turnaround time of 48 hours for Magic Resume services. In my case, it took many days.
3) Even after your resume has been modified, there is lot of delay in executing ResumeZapper services. My account status always says service under process.
4) There is very poor customer service, you will keep wondering where do you stand in the entire process. You will certain times feel that they have completely forgotten you.
I started the entire process on Jan 16, 2010 and today( January 29, 2010) I am still waiting for something concrete to happen. I will not recommend this service to my friends. Today is Feburary 2, 2010 still waiting to hear anything from TimesJobs. I was on hold for 10 min but none of their executives attended the call.
Thinking of going to consumer court.
