I really dont understand what these F_King job portals really do!
These jobs portals are just wasting the precious time of many Graduates including Engineers and Professionals like me.
I hope these jobs portals like Timesjob.com, Naukri.com and Monster India should be Sacked soon(ah, I also know that, in India it will never happen).
I have been using these Job portals including the useless timesjob for over 5 yrs. ABSOLUTELY NO USE because of them. Not ever a single call from any company I applied via Timesjob. Not even one. I am still suffering without a job.! :(
And now they have started to Rob people by calling and requesting them to pay money on so called useless Advanced Resume services and So On! They think we r all completely Fools.!
There r no PROS with this bullshit Job portals so I am jumping directly into the CONS, which I have many -
1) Their usable design is not user Friendly, Not simple at all. Very Confusing.
2) The Search menu is too not user Friendly and there not many options. Like, u can select only one Function. Why not they should have an Check box like Selection where we can do multiple selections? Useless Web designers.
3) There are many FRAUD and FAKE companies in this Fake Timesjob. For instance, There is an Company named "Customer is King", and what ever job search u do, this company is there in the search results. And a same job with this company is posted many times.
I have informed timesjob about this infinite times. Infact, I had myself marked that "Customer is King" as Fake organization, BUT no use. The company still stays.
I thinks, That particular company is paying a lots of Black money to Timesjob. OR/AND the company is run is by politicians.
For an instance again, If there r 10000 jobs in Timesjob, there atleast 5000 jobs posted by the company "Customer is king". How come? A single Company/consultancy with 5000 openings.?(My friends have already been cheated by Customer is King consultancy).
4) U apply for a job and u get a "no-reply" email and thats the work the timesjob does. NOTHING ELSE.
5) Also the information of jobs given is the website is always WORST, un-trusty and Incomplete. with almost 95% of job posting - No company name given, 3 to 5 location for same job(How Come?), 5 or above job role under one job posting and things like that. This make the students to get confused and chances to get cheated too.
5) all Above this, Now times job has started a recent replying service with most the Complaints they receive.
If anyone complaints about Timesjob, they just reply this -
"Hi(customer),
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and have alerted our customer care team to look into the matter on a priority basis. It would help us immensely if you could provide us your contact number as well as the Order ID of the transactions incurred by you.
We hope to have the issues resolved as soon as possible.

And they keep mum. Well this is India and I know these people can never be changed and many Engineers and Graduates like me will keep dying because of these Fools and Killers.
Update on 13 oct 2014 - Well as usual, I am still jobless.
But now When compared to Naukri, I guess timesjob have improved little bit.
There website/portal is lot better than before.
Before, I never used to get call after applying but now I get some calls atleast.
For an instance, I have been applying through the dirty naukri for over 3 months, But not even got single phone call from any. But just today I applied for a dozen couple of job on timejobs(atleast over 20 jobs), And got 2 calls from recruiters and 2 other responses thru mail! Thru nothing matched me, I am atleast happy that I got responses.
