I chose transacting through this site mainly because it was free, and also because of the reliability of the Times brand. My first impression about TimesofMoney is that they have got be a little more efficient. A cut-off time of 12pm for mutual fund transactions is unacceptable, when the actual cut-off is 2 p.m.
Further more, in one of my transactions, there was a delay from their side, because of which I got alloted the next days NAV. But, TimesOfMoney not only acknowledged their mistake, but also refunded me the loss I had suffered, though it was not binding on them to do that (as per the terms and conditions). Thats the only factor because of which I have rated them highly.
Dependability is the most important factor for me when I choose some agent to handle my money, and I can see that in TimesOfMoney. The site is pretty informative, but the content timeliness can definitely be improved. The transaction status is updated about 1-2 days after the transaction, which can also be improved. The overall experience with this site has been very good,
