I purchased my TIMEX watch, with golden polish and a very sleek design in 1998, in Delhi. I have gone through numerous experiences with the company and the watch after that. I searched a number of showrooms of TITAN and TIMEX at the time of purchase. That time there weren’t many other better models available. I searched at Cannought Place, Lajpat Nagar, Karol Bagh...Then I saw this model with golden strap and a dial with a black background at Sarojini Nagar. The design was, and still is fundoo!!
After that the first time I needed the company’s services was after about a year, when the watch would stop inexplicably in the middle of everything. So I handed it over to one service shop. They got it made within three days. The next experience was when the company had opened an exclusive showroom. I wanted to get the strap changed. The lady at the desk was very friendly and she ordered the right strap for me even when the model was out of manufacturing lines. I have been to that showroom only once more...but everytime I find the same consistent service levels, with a cheerful attitude. Keep it up Timex!!
