I am a regular user of online websites for buying products and till now my experience with sites like ebay, flipkart etc. has been very good. But after using Timtara.com, I will twice think about shopping online. While making payment for a Sony Xperia TIPO mobile and a 16 GB Micro SD card, I got a message that my transaction was unsuccessful. Thus, I repeated the transaction again and again I got the same message from the website. I thought there is some problem and hence I will try tomorrow. However, to my surprise, I got 2 messages from my bank in next 10 minutes stating that amount of 8728 has been deducted from my account TWICE.
Thus after paying Timtara Rs. 17656 and not getting any order details, I tried calling their call centre and got email Id of some Ms. Nisha. She responded to my mails on the first day and committed that they will reverse one transaction and ship the products against the other transaction. I was surprised when my bank told me that Timtara has claimed both transactions. When I tried contacting Nisha again, she simply vanished and stopped replying to my mails. So after 10 days of making double payment to Timtara, All I have is two order numbers (10356950 and 10356948) and one status AWAITING SHIPMENT. My 8728 rupees are still lying in thin air. Whenever you call their call centre, there is only one response "You will get your product in 21 days" as demand for the product is very high its taking time to ship the product.
Its my advice and request to all online buyers to stay away from this website and not increase demand of their products further. These poor fellows are already too loaded with orders and are not able to service their existing customers who have paid money in advance. Its only in India that such fraud websites can get away with giving such pathetic quality of service and still continue.
