I am one of the lucky few who have got their products delivered through timtara.com but was it worth the hassles?
I placed an order with timtara.com on 25 June(order no #10277568) . I had the misfortune of not going thru the harrowing tales of so many customers and frankly got swayed by the discount being offered(4000 rs). After placing the order confirmation email was received that the products would be shipped in 20 days. After 20 days I got in touch with them but to no avail. The worst part is that every time you call you will be told that person will get in touch with you in 24 hours. Next day they will tell you it is 24 working hours ie 3 days as a working day for them is only 8 hours( I would love to get such a job).
I lodged a complaint with CoreCC but to date the complaint itself is not published at their website(should there be a website to complain against such websites. Finally, I decided to cancel the order. The worst part is that website does not have any way that you can cancel the order. You an append cancellation order to your original complaint but I do not know if they even look at complaints. The customer care person initially told that cancellation can be only done at website later said that cancellation was being forwarded and they would get back to me in "48 hrs". I finally sent the cancellation as additional comment to my original order. To my utter surprise I got the product delivered on 4th august ie after 40 days. Now the economics of it. the product was available at time of placing order for 320000 at flipkart and 28000 at timtara. By the time it was delivered I was getting the product for 29000 at flipkart(with free goods worth 2000) So after wasting 1 month and approx 500-700 rs on phone call I get the product which costs more than the prevailing price.
So friends do not get swayed by the discounts as the product will either not be delivered or be delivered when you have lost all interest in it along with that you you will have gained an increased blood pressure and severe headache.
My take of the matter is that till you cancel the order( ie after legal time that they have already mentioned) you cannot really go to court as the moment you go to court they will send you your product and frankly no one has time to face hassles of court for just the heartburn caused(although we probably should so that such unscrupulous people cannot dupe others). The moment you cancel the order you have a host of ways of getting the money back including disputed charges(for CC payment).
Finally, do not even think about going to timtara.com. and save your precious time and money.
