I have been shopping online for almost 6 years since online shopping was in its nascent stage. Be it mobile, camera, or anything else, I always trusted e-shops as it provided me with a lot of variety and convenience. My blind faith was shattered by timtara.com. I ordered a cellphone Samsung Galaxy S2 without bothering to check much for the reviews as I never faced any problems till date.
After placing the order when the delivery time was 3 weeks, it sounded fishy. Either you have it in stock or no. No seller can have delivery time of 3 weeks. So just out of curiosity I checked for Timtara on mouthshut I was flummoxed !! 3% recommendation is a joke and it just shows how every other day , more and more people are cheated.
After reading the reviews, I cancelled my order immediately and asked for a charge back from my credit card provider. The bank has reversed my charge but the dispute will be resolved in 180 days. Hopefully truth will prevail but Timtara will get the money till then and will profit from many other people who do not take any action.
Also I checked their site, they still shamelessly display discounts and deals without actually delivering anything to anyone. I have seen some legal advisers on this forum .
This is a sincere request to them , if they can bring an end to this daylight robbery !!
