Its been 6 months-No delivery, lost my hard earned money. Order #10196015 and 10197987 with Timtara.com made on 21st and 23rd February rRajeev_Vermactively for a total amount of Rs 4, 306/-.
I have a few basic questions to everyone out here who are placing web orders. My questions are:-
Why is the Indian law and order still allowing companies like timtara.com to operate?
Why is the search engine like google.com showing Timtara.com as a featured website on the front page of Google search results and enticing the innocent customers to fall into its trap?
Why do payment gateways like PayU still continue to be the payment gateway for timtara.com after CCavenue stopped giving them services? What kind of a due diligence do this payment gateways do before they accept becoming their service providers.
Why dont we enforce law on payment gateways to report frauds. If CCAvenue in the month of February 2012 had stopped providing services to timtata.com than it must be made compulsory to lodge a complaint against the same because it was aware that customers are reporting non-delivery of goods and hence it must have taken efforts and report it to law so that timtara was compelled to shut down, at least nobody would have lost money to this company in the past 4 months. [ A small suggestion from my side though: do write an email to the payment gateway website as well. Since you paid the money via their gateway they must also take some responsibility].
My worry is that Timtara.com, a cheat company, is still operating in India and looting the money of my fellow Indians. I am surprised to know that we are submitting our bad reviews almost in every review website possible and still the company is being operational & nobody is taking action.
- Why are we as Indians giving so many opportunities to allow companies like timtara.com to commit bigger and bigger frauds like this where we are loosing so much of money collectively to this fraud company. Its time we react and react hard. We will not allow this company to operate further and cheat other Indians who are all my brothers and sisters. I want to stand by each and everyone of you and support a cause here. Lets ensure that this company ceases to operate for the good of all the Indian consumers. Cyber crime branch, police, Indian law and order, everything should be enforced and the culprit must be penalised and that too urgently because when I am writing this review my worry is a few more of my brothers and sisters might be loosing their money. We need to help them who are not aware that this company is a fraud. Please help our friends by spreading this message to everyone.
Some Suggestions:-
Write to Cyber crime.
Lodge a collective complaint in consumer court. Call on Toll free no 1800114000 (Department of Consumer Affairs Govt. of India)
Write to Payment Gateway company marking a mail to timtara at following address raja@timtara.com,
bharat@infosecure.co.in, abose@timtara.com, customerfirst@timtara.com and keeping the "Risk Manager" of payment gateway in cc.
Inform the credit card company or bank through which you have made the payment WITHIN 60 DAYS of non-receipt of goods. These banks will give you a temporary credit and will account this transactions under disputed transactions and press timtara to deliver goods or refund money.
Write in forums and review pages to increase awareness which will really help other consumers who have not become culprits.
Do an in depth analysis before placing online order because shopping with timtara has taught me a real lesson. Try to buy goods from websites which accept "Cash on delivery model", so that delivery of good is at least guaranteed.
I hope we all can work together to reduce our damages and safe-guard the interest of other and future consumers.
