Let me start by saying that i was a sucker to be sucked into the entire discount charade set up by timtara. My old PS3 was busted so i decided to buy a new one. I wanted the slim model with move instead of the new super slim. After checking out many web sites, i found the one that i was looking for on timtara. And the icing on top was that i was getting a discount of 3k. What else did i need to go ahead and place the order! Well, here is where i made the mistake. I should have had done a little research before spending my money. Anyway, this transaction wasn’t the worst. After numerous phone calls and an email to their CEO, I finally received my PS3 in 21-days. The ordeal started once I opened my package. What i found inside was the Sony ps3 superslim model and no move support.
I called timtara and informed that a wrong package has been sent and please correct it. They called me after 2-days and informed me that the slim model is no longer available. So, basically, i had no choice but to return it. I again made a fatal mistake and decided to order move separately and keep the console they had sent me. I ordered move bundle on 8th January; and as of today, after hundreds of emails; all mails are marked to timtara ceo a boss; I have still not received my order or any communication on the same. I have also taken the liberty to write to dataquest which had for some odd reason bestowed an award upon timtara. No need to mention that they have also failed to respond. I am fully supportive of the start ups and generally overlook small errors and inconveniences, however, timtara has crossed all thresholds. They show total disregard for you as a customer.
No one wants to talk to you and provide any answers. I have already spoken to my lawyer and contemplating dragging them to court. If anything good comes out of that, I’ll keep you posted.
My advise, "spend extra but atleast you’ll save the hassles of following up and end up spending money but not getting the product". No shopping from timtara.
