Am an avid internet user and I generally order anything to everything from websites like Flipkart, Ebay, Infibeam, Myntra etc.
Ordered 3 1TB WD hard drives on 10th April 2012. Got it almost for Rs 1, 200 less than any other website. The product mentioned will be delivered in 10-15 working days. Called them up around 27th April and they said product is out of stock, i’ll get it ASAP. Wrote a mail on 29th April in vain. On 1st May 2012, they called up themselves and confirmed product will be dispatched on 8th May 2012. However, it’s still not dispatched.
Called up the customer care and got really frustrated with their dumb answers. Fortunately, we came across Timtara’s owner Arindam Bose’s mobile number yesterday. Spoke to him in length regarding the discrepancies and he promised to get it resolved at the earliest. Within 5 minutes, got a call from customer care and they’ve promised the product will now be dispatched on 15th May 2012, they’ve confirmed on mail as well.
In any case, definitely my worst experience till date. Please do not buy anything from here, you’ll be better off paying extra on a trusted and efficient website like Flipkart. In the age of the e-commerce boom, service and quality is of more significance than the extra money you pay.
