For any one who love to travel to tropical islands, the one I would most certainly recommend is Tioman off the east coast of Malaysia. Wondering how I should describe this beautiful island, I decided to write a poem.
There be an island paradise,
Secreted away from the eyes of sentence,
Where vendant virgin rainforest thrives,
And the water sparkles with life.
Canopies of vibrant emrald,
Shielding verge of deep jade,
Ochre stalks topped with olive fringe,
And leaf littered life avails.
Star white beaches among secluded bays,
Sand so soft like glittering powder,
As if a billion pearls crushed and used,
To sash the isle in feathery silk.
Waters so endless in its exotic elegance,
In numberless shades of blue,
Brushed with streaks of navy at twilight,
Reflecting panels of platinum at noon.
Sheltered and protected by storm and fiery reef,
Fauna abounding in land, ocean and air,
From a nightime melody to daytime prayer,
All sharing a piece of this tropical rhapsody.
