I’m a medical doctor, but this cooment is about my brother who is successful in 2009 CAT.He is excited about the result, but not at all tensed about the interview call.
One reason I find is that he didn’t use the normal procedure to prepare for the CAT exams. Instead of spending sleepless nights on normal prescribed tests, he worked more on those educational-skill building products, which would stenghten his changes of getting into IIMS and at the same time it would improve him personally even if he miss a chance at IIMs.

Their idea of using your passion for your advantage (passion based learning) makes anyone to hook to the learning products for more time. For example my brother never used to sit in fornt of books for more than half an hour, but now a days we had to pull him out of the study room for lunch!
