I’m here to share some of my views regarding placements for freshers. I come across around 10 candidates in day who are a compleate fresher. Now when they look for a change maximum candidates prefer working in MNC and they would like to stay as unemployed but wouldnt like to join any smaller organisation.
There were some candidates who came to my office in the month of August 08 and still looking for a new job in MNC. Here I would like to convey a verry strong message actually, If a fresher is looking for a job I think he should never think of only goining directly to MNC. Because the exposure what he will be getting there offcourse would be wide but his achievement in experience would not be up to the mark. If he gets a break in MNC thats well and good but if he dosent then I think joining a smaller organisation would be a better option rather sitting at home.
Now here if this candidate will join a smaller organisation which suits his profile he would achieve a good experience wherein his Do’s and Dont’s would be marked by his seniors personally and can get a chance to improve himself. And then later if he thinks that he would now be comfortable working in an MNC they probably he could shift. So to get an better exposure / experience I think starting with a smaller organisation is much better.
