I have to write. I have to write. I have to write.
ok. I just drank a whole bottle of Pepsi and am feeling Bubbly. Now Pepsi isnt health food but I drink enough water to drown a blue whale per day. So the Pepsi is going to be washed away soon.
Before the Bubbly dies, Im going to jot down some bits from my little grey notebook(i.e. my brain)
*Tip #1: Psyche yourself up**. Exercise is all about positive energy, adrenaline rushes and creativity. The first accessory you require is a MIRROR. Now make no mistakes - you got to love yourself. I mean, whats not there to love about yourself? Make the mirror your friend. Not to preen and gloat, but to remind you of the potential energy you have stored inside you. Mind over matter baby, mind over matter.
Once you have unlocked the vault of confidence, you can only grow stronger and more beautiful.
*Tip #2: Form your own routine**. when I used to work out I didnt do what others did. Why? Because no one knows my body better than I do. If there is a creak or an ache somewhere, I stop. You just have to learn from watching and reading and then form your own routine. Makes it more interesting too.
*Tip #3: Believe in the power of kinetic energy**. when you slow down, your body slows down too. so believe in the power of kinetic energy. you dont have to lift a single kilo in your life if you move your body well. That is why those walks and those climbs up stairs are good for you.
*Tip #4: Pack your gear bag**. yes. functional clothing and gear are great motivators during a work out. Also include litres of that wonder fluid WATER. or some healthy alternative that replaces some of the lost salts and minerals.
*Tip #5: Dont get distracted**. Ive seen so many people get injuries while lifting weights because they wanted to stare at themselves in the mirror behind them or wink at a girl. FOCUS ON YOUR CHI!:)
*Tip #6: Dont get caught in a rut**. keep changing and adapting. explore other forms of exercise and if all fails. just DANCE. dancing is a great way to burn and shape up. BOREDOM kills.
*Tip #7: When in doubt. DONT!**. If you arent sure about something, dont do it. Many people end up with torn ligaments and stuff because they do an exercise wrong(btw. did you know that those neck rotate thingees that they made you do during Physical Education in school. can wreck your neck? yes. it can)
Last but not the least. its YOUR body. listen to it. love it. and understand it!
Cmon. give me one more set;)
