No scope for much creativity

The doom starts with the syllabus of 10th class itself. Syllabus of 10th class is so easy that any child can score good. And when it comes to 11th, suddenly amount of syllabus looms large. In 12th class, amount of syllabus plus the difficulty and the pressure of board exams makes life hell. I have been a student of science stream and have faced a lot of problem regarding this. Due the pressure of scoring well in board exams, children resort to cramming and room for creativity and learning declines. Being a person of having interest in art, creativity and writing, I switched to arts stream in my graduation.

What can be done is the reduction of syllabus a bit and further admissions in graduation and other streams on the basis of aggregate of entrance and boards. Teachers must let students study freely and choose their subject of interest.
