I am talking about PULSAR 220 DTS-Fi, the bike can now easily be termed as one of the most hyped bike in the world. The bike failed so miserably that it could not sell few dozens after one year of launch. All people who bought it suffered from plethora of issues and reliability problems. Bajaj somehow managed to sell defective bikes month after month but finally they could not as their dealers were having tough time sorting out moutain of issues.


Bajaj then came up with carbed version and launched as if’CARB’ is’NEW TECHONOLGY’ compared to’Fi’, even I am one of the victim and now I realize how I fell prey to Bajaj’s designs of selling bad bikes. I have suffered so many issues and from’Fan’ I have turned into’Social worker’


Some cons are


POOR GEARBOX DUE TO CHEAP PARTS


POOR BRAKING AT HIGHER SPEED LEADS TO ACCIDENT ON PULSARS, CHECK BRAKING ON HONDA BIKES AND SEE FOR YOURSELF.


POOR PARTS LIFE, CLUTCH PLATE REPLACEMENT AT EVEN 10, 000KMS. BAJAJ SHAMELESSLY OFFERES 5 YEARS EXTENDED WARRANTY, FOR WHAT?


SO FAR NO ENGINE OIL IS FOUND TO BE GOOD FOR A PULSAR, NO OIL ON  EARTH MAKES THIS BIKE SMOOTH.


OVERALL POOR QUALITY/DESIGN AND VERY POOR SERVICE BACK-UP, PREMIUM CHARGES APPLY FOR DIRTY SERVICING.
