There are innumerable Android apps available in the Playstore to download.
Going through the reviews made by others won’t help you a lot to decide in choosing the right kind of app. However to some extent it may be helpful.
Sometimes we need to use our logic to decide it. For example: - if you are downloading a Photo Editor App, it will obviously ask you for permission to access your gallery. But if it ask you more than that like contact list, call logs, sms inbox, email etc. then this is not a trusted app. Similarly if a Games seeks your permission to access your Gallery or videos, then it is not a trusted one.
Some leading developers like EA, Gameloft, Nautilus mobile and a few others cab be trusted.
One more thing you can do, check the developer email id. Developers like EA or Gameloft uses emails like- help@eagames.com and help@gameloft.com. While other uses the name of the game or app followed by @gmail.com or @yahoo.com, so these are not so trusted app. They do not have their own domain name.
