Spark Plug
Our stock spark plug is a normal carbon plug which loses its strength after fifteen minutes of high speed. That means, drive your vehicle in 80 kmph for fifteen minutes, slow your bike somewhere, and test the engine pulling power, it will be definitely less than the power you got at starting.
Buy a Iridium spark plug that costs around 500 rs.
this is the difference you will experience after putting that plug.
Engine will be smooth, you can accelerate from 0 to 120 kmph easily without Vibration.(on normal plugs you will feel vibration when you reach 60 kmph, because the burn efficiency is less so vibration happens)
You get more mileage on any speed.( there will be a marking on your speedometer that tells you the safe speed to get more mileage. From 40 to 60 kmph) iridium spark plugs uses little current and give more ignition power at all speeds. So you can drive at any speed to get the high efficiency of fuel.
Your vehicle will produce less pollution. When you use iridium plug, the fuel air mixture burns completely inside the cylinder, so the emission that is caused is reduced.
Long drive? no problem, you can go on any speed, the mileage will not drop.
Top speed will increase. More ignition= more power and efficiency.
Engine noise is reduced a little.
Battery will charge soon. the plug uses low power from your alternator than your stock plug. So the remaining unused power goes to battery.
power consumption’s
The alternator in our bike generates current that is used for head light, brake light, turning indicators and to charge batteries.
if the bike uses the full power of alternator, then mileage will drop. Because its like adding more weight. The engine has to pull the alternator and wheel harder.
so what can we do to reduce the power consumption?
headlight is very important. if your bike uses Incandescent bulbs, change it to halogen bulbs. They are brighter and uses less power.
Indicators and brake lights use the most of your battery power. Change them to led lights. They are available online and in local shops.
By changing the bulbs to led, you use only less power from alternator. so battery charges very quick. when battery reaches full, alternator will be used very little. so engine can work faster without interruptions.
