Tips and Tricks to get good mileage on your Bike.

Hello guys, today I am sharing a tips on bikes mileage such that you can get more mileage than before. If you know these tricks then it is very good for you but if you don’t know these right tricks to increase the mileage then just check it all out. With these easy tricks not only you will get good mileage but also, the performance of Bike will also get increase.

I am not a professional in mechanical stuffs, but I have tried these steps by myself and the performance of my bike is good then before. I have Bajaj Discover 125.

1) The first tip is that you must fill petrol in your bike from any trusted Petrol Pump or Petrol Station. Why I am telling this because, there are many petrol pumps where the petrol tey are providing is not pure i.e., with petrol there is any other substances mixed like kerosene which results in jamming the carburettor and the life of engine will also remain constant. So, better to reach out of them.

2) The second tip is that, always prevent parking your bike under direct sunlight for a prolonged period. By doing so, it will not only affects your bike’s colour tone but this will also decrease the mileage as well. The heat will evaporate the fuel inside the tank, that results water droplets formation inside tank this can also corrode the tank from inside.

3) The third tip is that always try to maintain your bike’s tyre pressure that is recommended by the Company. Do check your tyre’s air pressure in about every 2-3 weeks. Especially during summer season.

4) The fourth tip is that always provide time to time service to your bike. A timely servicing, will enhance the performance of engine, which results in increased mileage also. Servicing includes, changing the engine oil, air filter, oil filter, washing the chain cover, cleaning and lubing the chain, checking break pads, hydraulics fluid level, checking spark plugs, etc.

5) The fifth tip is to avoid unnecessary gear shifting. By doing so frequently, this will affect your clutch plate which results in decrease in smoothness of clutch system and hence your mileage will decrease. Shift gear only when required.

6) The sixth tip is that, try to maintain your bike’s speed in between 40Km/h and 50Km/h and ride on the top gear. This is the economy level for any commuter bike segment. Where you will get the maximum mileage.

The final conclusion about bike’s mileage is maintenance. Always do time to time maintenance like cleaning bike one in every 2 weeks or so, as you prefer and obey yhe rules that is recommended by the Bike’s Company.
