- Performance.
The main factor you have to consider while purchasing is the performance. You have to choose a good processor for that.
I will recommend using Snapdragon processors rather than others because these processors comes with great graphics performance and camera processing skills. For a phone above 10k, I will recommend getting 600 series processor and not to go with 400 series. You can get processors like Snapdragon 636( in Redmi Note 5 pro and ZenFone Max Pro M1), Snapdragon 660( realme 2 pro) etc. Huawei processor like Kirin 710( honor 8x) is good and MediaTek helio p60( realme 1) is great too.
- Build and design.
You have to ensure that your phone is build well. I will recommend metallic phones and glass back phones with gorilla Glass protection.
If your phone is glass back without gorilla Glass, then use a case. Avoid buying plastic back phones which will not last long. Nokia phones are build well.
- Software.
Software is one of the aspect. As far as possible, try to buy Android One branded phones because they provide software updates to every version directly by Google.
- Camera.
Don’t go after the megapixel counts of the cameras. Instead try to search phones with large sensors. Like 1/2.5 inch( mostly used in flagship) 1/2.8, 1/3 is great sensor size. 1/4, 1/5 is worst. Try to study terms such as aperture and pixel size so that you can search for a good one. Generally Motorola phones uses great sensor sizes like 1/2.5 that is used in flagships.
- AI engine.
These days phones are getting smarter with Artificial intelligence(AI) . Upcoming android versions will use AI for almost every task. So there is a need for an AI engine. So make sure that your processor comes with an AI engine. Snapdragon 660( realme 2 pro), Snapdragon 636( Redmi Note 5 pro) Kirin 710( honor 8x), helio p60( realme 1) comes with AI engine so please try to find mobiles with these prosessors. Your phone will be future proof of have that engine.
