General tips on car battery

Car battery is one of the most important part of your car. Without battery your will not start. There are two types of batteries, dry cell and non dry cell. This should be checked at intervals of 3-4 months. So here are some tips to maintain your car battery.


Your car battery will not pass current if it is rusted. Clean both the terminals with a wire brush every 4-5 months. Make a paste of baking soda and distilled water and rub the terminals this will clean the corrosion and acid rust.


If your battery is non dry cell the check the water level at interval of 6-7 months. Fill the battery water if the water level is low. Note, don’t over fill the water, over filling of water may discharge your battery.


Apply grease on the terminals to prevent if from rusting and corrosion.
