Here some steps are1- Inspect your battery’s visual condition- If your battery’s case is cracked, leaking or bulging from sides or top, it needs be replaced.2- Check your battery’s fluid level- Unscrew the plugs or pry the caps off to check the fluid level. If the battery fluid is covering the vertical plates inside your battery, it does not need any attention. If the plates are expossed at the top, add distilled water carefully to your battery.3- Fully charge your battery- If you perform short trips or predominantly drive in the city, it is possible that your battery does not charge enough between your starting point to destination. Then in such case, use an automatic battery charger to top up your battery’s charge.As if you follow these small steps, your battery’s condition will always good.Now, how to take care of the battery in winter season? For the winters care are as follows.1- Protect your battery from freezing- A fully charged car battery only freezed at -76 Fahrenheit while a fully discharge battery starts freezing at 32 Fahrenheit. Never let your car battery fully discharge. It could freezed battery when temperature drops. A frozen battery not only won’t accept a charge but will potentially cause damage to the battery.2- Keep your battery fully charged- A car requires much more battery power to start in cold weather, and may need your battery fully charged to start. So keep it fully charged.3- Must test your battery in every 3-6 months- You must take your car battery to the auto part store for the inspection of the battery.
