One such unprofessional name that comes to mind, is a Bangalore based Inverter Battery manufacturer, who goes by the name "Battery Guru". He probably was very intentional in christening that name "Guru" as it seems to be a big money spinner in India. Put in a query for a potential buy, he wags his tail, salivates like a dog for the last morsel, hounds you till you part with your molah. By Jo the promises he makes during the sale is nothing short of fantastic. Battery will be replaced, 60 months warranty, every three months maintenance teams will descend at your premises and check the water level and clean the contacts, bla, bla, bla.
A gentleman by the name of Deepak, suave as the wheeler dealers of Wall Street is the face behind this con outfit. His impeccable English, makes him believe that he can perpetrate this con endlessly to a gullible audience.
To cut the story short. All the promises end with the sale. You will never ever hear from them thereafter. You can call them a million times and bring to their notice that the battery is bone dry and your inverter is dead. Dead inverter meets dead response. Ultimately you learn to do it yourself.
I would like to take this opportunity to warn all potential buyers of this con outfit. Pls don’t get carried away by these smooth talkers. They are the slime that rots the fabric of this country. There motto " Get rich quick by Hook or crook.
