Childlhood obesity is like a curse

These days lifestyle of people especially of younger generation have changed a lot. People now  prefer watching television & smartphones to talking a walk outside the house. In case of kids, they are glued to TV cartoon shows & video games. Nobody cares for an entertaining workout or any other physical activity.  In case of kids this problem has increased a lot and because of the sedentary lifestyle & bad eating habits, new health problems have arisen.  It is ok that kids can’t do gym exercises, but they can go outside & play with their friends.

Such type of outdoor activity is a must for healthy childhood.  No exercise is as bad as unhealthy food habits.  As the kids grow up, this lifestyle will result in various health ailments like High blood pressure  & diabetes. Parents & school both should tell kids to give stress on eating healthy food by avoiding fast food like burger, pizza & soft drinks.  In Australia, pre-school put stress on avoiding food containing high sugar like chocolates,  my nephew  had  drink containing chocolate & it was tagged as a bad food by teacher. I have seen that people there are quite health conscious as I can see the Australians doing jogging & running all the time. They consider running as a good exercise, I must add that running is considered as a great cardio vascular exercise & hence great for losing weight, I have read from a health magazine that running is a perfect exercise for losing weight & without it good amount of weight loss is not possible.Maybe that is why their life expectancy rate of Aussies  is much more than Indians. These people Australians retire at a age of 70 years, which is 10 years more than our country. They say that they can still work as told by their government.

The advice from me is if you can’t run & exercise, you can play games like cricket & football.Parents should tell the kids the benefits of good health, avoiding fast food & exercise.
