I had signed up with CPP India on 11.7.2013 by paying Rs 1680 to get protection on my credit cards.They promised to send welcome pack on email in next 3 working days and the physical welcome kit in next 14 working days.The emailer welcome pack arrived on 15.7.13.
I awaited a call from them to complete the sign up formalities and activate the protection on my credit cards, but in vain.After waiting for 8 days, I send in an e-mailer for cancellation to them.Next day, Mr Nitin from CPP India called up and tried to dissuade me from cancelling the membership, but I firmly told him to go ahead and cancel my membership and refund the amount paid, which he said would be done.
After waiting for a week to get any communication from them, I again send them an email on 25.7, asking them about the status of my refund and to confirm the same in writing.Today, on 26.7, the same person called me up and claimed that as per company policy, he cannot send me an email of the cancellation.
Still he will send me a written letter in next 3 working days.As per him, the refund is already send to my credit card account.
I fail to understand how can a company work whose personnel are prohibited from writing confirmation email to their customers. My communication with them affirms that I have made a right decision by not dealing with this company, who do not care about their customers.
My advice would be not to deal with CPP India.
