No try, no cry!

Indian Work Culture, unfortunately, debars even talented, result oriented and experienced junior level executives over 45 years to re-start their career afresh after voluntary retirement.  That is the time when one is tempted to locate work from home opportunities through internet.  I had one such opportunity of undertaking a Data Conversion Job thru a fradulent agency by name Networld Computers in Laxmi Nagar where a security advance of Rs. 1.100/- was forfeited on an invalid character space error (a flimsy data inaccuracy) grounds after completion of the first assignment.  Even highly educated people do get caught in a net but the funny side of this episode is "Had I only tried to execute jobs direct through net, I would have lost only my time and effort, but not  time, money and effort".  The word "Trust" has probably lost its meaning and gone "rusty" with the passage of time.

There could be genuine internet jobs available but there is no use risking your valuable time and effort  exhibiting your writing skills when theire is a remote possibility of your getting paid for your hard work.  After  one bitter experience,  **I have gone wiser and the policy adopted by me is "No try, no cry!

It is safer to get linked with known and trusted Web Publishers and Magazine Writers, who know your value, knowledge base and credibility, from whom ideally you should take 50% advance before undertaking the job, so as to ensure that Publishers do not turn out to be "Public Cheaters"!

*Last but not the least, my sincere thanks to Indian Work Culture that I have become my own BOSS  today, having opted to become a Computer Operations as also English Conversation Coach and a Project Guide for School/College Students and Working Executives pursuing higher education for excelling in their profession.

With my best compliments and wishes to all ardent writers,

Yours sincerely,

(Usha Balachandran)
