I know that my vision is fine and my eyes are very healthy. But I am not just thinking about it , I am pritty sure coz I did a comprehensive dilated eye exam from an eye care proffessional for aplying Indian arm forces. Doing the comprehensive dilated eye test is the only way to be sure that our eyes are healhty or not. We do lots of tests for our different body parts, blood, urine, high blood pressure, low blood pressure for checking our health but we dont test our eyes, eyes are an important part of our body and health. We should never ignore our eye care.
Think what will happen if you can not see this world, its sounds horrible right? . Then we have to care our eyes like we do care about our other body parts. So now the question is how can we take care of our eyes? . Here are some basic tips I am gonna tell and its so easy to do that.
1) Protect your eyes with harsh sunlight, dust particals using shades or protective sunglasses. You must wear it when riding bikes , playing sports or while doing anything which can damage your eyes. I think this tip knew everyone.
2) Take care if you spend long time in front of computer or any screen. Its not good for eyes to work long time in front of any screen even mobile phones.
3) blink your eyes lots of time in a minute if your work is like focusing on one thing for long time. Blinking eyes are very neccessory coz it do not allow our eyes to dry that means our ratina should be moist always.
4) dont rub your eyes with fingers if your eyes feel etchy while working from longer time. Wash your hands before touch to eyes in any purpose.
5) Make a habbit of wearing protective shield for eyes if you are a worker in any factory and it requires a eye protector.
6) Eat good food which help to increase the capability of eyes. Eat right to look right. Carrot is very good for eyes. Just like that all green vegetables are good for the eye sight.
7) Most important is give a rest to your eyes of you work for a long time focusing on one perticular object. Blink your eyes and look at the distance of some meters and blink fast fast so that it will help to reduce eyestrain.
