Its a Sick company .
First a written test(analytical) was conducted for about 100 people on day one.
Next week I got mail from HR(radhika raju) informing that I was through, and a second round shall be conducted to check ur skills.
So I went there 5 more candidates were there, 3 C/C+ programs were given to run on a machine with turbo C, Only I was able to pass it . rest of them were sent back then was given an EXE to test, in which found several bugs.
The QA manager(mahesh) said that he was very impressed .
Then another person came who asked about my previous employment and other project related questions.
Then HR told me that I am almost through and all rounds went well, next week we will call you
Again next week I went there, I was supposed to meet the MD for some final wrap ups, but instead 2 managers came, 1 was that QA guy and some other lead technical.
They threw in some tantrums saying that we find that you are very gud at programming, would you like to try for dev positions, I said that I wanted QA, but they tried put words in my mouth by saying it will good if you try out dev see ur performance in programming.
They said we also positions for dev in whic you any how will do unit testing, so y not try it . finally did fall for them.
Then they started showing there true colors, QA manager said all the rounds will be re-conducted for you and just in case you don’t clear them, don’t expect that you will be hired for QA also.
I was taken aback, they asked me to come next day, by now I had clearly understood their intentions, didn’t even interview me and said ur profile is not good for dev.
HR said it was some confusion on our we are sorry that we called you.
It was heart-breaking 5 days over 3 weeks, I didn’t expect such unprofessionalism.
