The Balanced Diet I Prefer For Healthy Living

Most of us are suffering from deficiencies of some thing or the other in our bodies. The manifestations of which may go unnoticed. Problems like hair loss, dull skin, acne, extreme tiredness, sleepiness are some of them. These tell tale signs should ring the  alarm bell  so that we start working to overcome these deficiencies. I have always tried to lose weight but have ignored the importance of a balanced diet. I’d go for vigorous workouts and eventually eat anything after being tired. And that made me lose nothing but my motivation towards losing weight. But we have to learn from our mistakes. So all my failed attempts led me to ponder upon the fact that all this while I had been ignoring my diet. Basically I was either not eating and not working out or working out heavily and eating a lot. So for a change, I thought of making my diet better and eat healthy. Gathering all the information on balanced diet, thanks to Google, I shortlisted a few points to include in my diet. These have been working ideally for me, I hope they can help you too. So here are my few tips for a balanced diet.

  • Include all the macro nutrients in your food plan. These are basically the foods with proteins, fat and carbs. For example: whole grams, dals, chickpeas, peas, lentils, beans, peanuts, milk, eggs, fish, and meat.

  • Your diet should cover the micro nutrients that are the sources for vitamins and minerals. So include fruits and vegetables in your diet.

Also, I have found that there may be different nutrient requirements for men and women. That is why there should be separate balanced diets. So work out a plan accordingly.

This has helped me with my deficiencies, I’d suggest that you should give it a try too.
