Dear friends,
There is no doubt that homeopathy is the most effective and holistic system of medicine - and certainly far ahead of allopathy. Unfortunately we have some quacks who run such practices in the guise of being a "charitable trust". One such "trust" is Bhadra Homeopathy in Murugeshpalya, Bangalore. Note that it is Bhadra and not Batra.
This is run by one Mr. Chandran who is NOT a qualified Homeo physician. He has devised a very cunning business model. Since he is not even a BHMS and therefore not licensed to practice, he obviously cannot charge a fee. So he keeps a "donation box" where patients obviously put in some money out of obligation. But how does he cover himself from any legal consequences of giving medicines when is not legally qualified to do so? For this he employs qualified junior doctors(always ladies) who simply sit beside him and take notes. They have no say in what medicine is given to the patient. It is not clear if they receive some fee. Now, how does Chandran know which remedy to give, because there are patients who also report good results. No doubt, he has learnt some lessons in homeopathy but he relies on a software to conclude which remedy to give. He feeds the patients details and symptoms in a software which lists out the possible remedies.
Other homeopathy doctors use their professional knowledge and expertise to treat patients and are therefore entitled to charge a fee. And most importantly they are legally licensed to practice. This guy is nothing but a quack who uses a software and has created a setup that allows him to make money and also covers him from legal consequences.
