What is Homoeopathy?
The word ‘homoeopathy’ is derived from two Greek words, ‘Homois’ meaning similar and ‘pathos’ meaning suffering. Homoeopathy simply means treating diseases with remedies, which are capable of producing symptoms similar to the disease when taken by healthy people. It is based on the natural law of healing-’Similia Similibus Curantur’ which means’likes are cured by likes’.
The German physician Dr. Samuel Hahnemann(1755-1843) discovered the principle that What substance could cause in the way of symptoms it could also cure.*
Hahnemann observed that certain drugs, when taken by him while quite healthy, produced symptoms that the drug was known to cure in sick persons. For instance, when he took Cinchona Bark, which contains quinine, he became ill with symptoms that exactly mimicked intermittent fever(now called malaria). He wondered if the reason Cinchona worked against intermittent fever was because it caused symptoms indistinguishable from intermittent fever in a healthy human.
Hahnemann continued to experiment, noting that every substance he took, whether an herb, a mineral product or a chemical compound, produced definite distinct symptoms in him. He noted that no two substances produced exactly the same set of symptoms. Each provoked its own unique pattern of symptoms not just confined to the physical plane but they also affected the mind and the emotions apart from the body.

MY experiences with Homoeopathy

The Major fallacy from the many abounding homoeopathy is that It is a very slow cure which is * Completely False* as my own experiences has proven time and again.
Since the past five years my entire family is being treated for all ailments exclusively with Homoeopathy medicines by a Qualified Homoeopath.
Whether it is my nine year old or my five month old their recovery time with homoeopathy medicines have Always been faster, even for a disease like malaria.
Recently, my nine year old son was diagnosed with Malaria and homoeopathy cured him in 6/7 days flat, whereas a neighbour being treated with allopathic medicines took more than 15 days to recover.
For common ailments like cough cold etc not only is the recovery faster but the chances of a relapse, in my experience have been very rare.
For complains like back pains, arthritis. Etc too though there is Most Certainly a marked improvement. I myself used to suffer terrible backaches due to an indented coccyx(tailbone), since taking homoeopathic treatment for it I’ve not had a single pain attack in the past three years.
My mother A Cancer Survivor too finds a marked improvement in her energy levels as well as in her immunity levels since she started taking Constitutional Medicine along with the allopathic drugs which she has to take life long.
