Indian food is known worldwide for its taste and varities. The spices used make Indian food very desirable and heathy and yummier. There is so much variety in the kind of food prepared in India from kashmir to Karnataka.
But my suggestion to people is to keep food as simple and wholesome as possible. Always remember the saying You become what you eat. Food has been commercialized in the worst possible way today.And junk food are being projected as healthy and cool ro eat, unfortunately the truth is the kind of food we are eating these days is unhealthy. There is so much of sugar content and salt and oil and fat that is served to people in the name of food. Hotel food contains everything in excess , so watch out what you eat pick the right stuff.
I am not discouraging people or not trying to scare anyone by my article. Just an attempt to create awareness.
Please eat wholesome food like millets , avoid sugar as much as possible in any form and refuce salt intake and use minimal oil in cooking. Avoid bakery foods and other form as junk food as much as possible , can have once or twice a month. Maida should.be avoided . Use unpolished rice and wheat stop eating processed food. Stay simple and eat simple . You will stay away from all health issue like diabetes type 1 and 2 , bp etc. Eat whole fruit rather than drinking fruit juice with plenty of sugar added. And never forget to excersie one hour a day
