Emulator clarification

I am having zen MPFI petrol car.  I have fitted a zavoli gas kit two years back.  The car is running very smoothly and with good pick up.  Only with the car is full with AC on the car shows little slow and I have to use the lower gear.

On going through the review of Sri Memon sir, If the emulator is provided then petrol pump will function when we are running in gas but petrol is not used.  This petrol act as a collant to cool injectors which get heated due to engine heat when we run in LPG mode.  This emulator will not stop the  fuel pump when the car is in gas and the petrol will be coming into the engine and going back to the tank through the pipe.

In my car also this emulator is provided.  So I enquired about the fact from our fitter of the LPG who has been installing the same since 1998.  He told me that the wire of the emulator is  connected to the wire of the petrol pump.  So as soon as the car starts in petrol mode then It switches off to gas then due to emulator the petrol is blocked and it remains near the injector but does not injects out of injector and return back to the tank.  So please Menon guide me.  Please let me know in details with sketch if possible so that I can make my fitter understand If the petrol actual injects from the injector and return back to tank .
