My Martui 800 is almost 10 years old which I had bought from Martuti True Value in July 2006. The reason I went for this car was that I rarely go outside Lucknow(Uttar Pradesh) and I needed a car for myself to still be mobile and reach places in town in odd weather conditions. After using my car for about 8 months and consuming Rs. 18, 000/- on petrol I am planning to go for Petrol to LPG conversion. My car gives me an average of 14-15 Kms/Ltr which in the given conditions of busy roads and traffic jams is not bad(pls correct me if I am wrong).
I have been reading and studying reviews and suggestions on this site as well as on the internet and I am starting to believe that one cant be sure what will be the outcome of this Petrol to LPG conversion. I think it all depends upon the sheer luck as well as quality of kits available in your locale and intelligence of retrofitter.
So friends, if you think you can advice me on what kind of LPG Kit, Kit combination I should go for and precautions I should take which may help in getting the most out of the LPG Kit will be heartily welcomed. If anyone happen to reside in my city(Lucknow) wishes to share his/her experience or guidance of any local gas retrofitter that would be great.
