Tattoos - Do you have one

Well I am writing about a topic that is very common -

It’s there in the papers, magazines, internet everywhere.I searched the

entire mouth shut site was unable to find even a single mention of the

same so here I am writing a review on the same.

Thought this section is the best to put that in

Tattoos - There are lot of tattoo artist out there some do it per hour

some do it per inch.

Per hour charges are around Rs 2500 or 3000 per hour.

Where u pay for

the total time it takes to make the tattoo.

Other artist charge per square inch, where they charge Rs 1500 for

black and Rs 2000 for colour.

Good artist use genuine vegetable ink, which can be Australian, Chinese

or America.

The inks are imported and cost a lot, same is for the needles that are

used for tattooing.

Usually 2 kinds of needles are used outlining needle and shading

needle.

Outlining needle is used to make the outlines of the tattoo and Shading

needle is used to shade the areas inside the outlines created.

Tattoos can be of 2 kinds, outline tattoos and shaded tattoos, outline

tattoos have only the outline and not much of shading in it.

The other

type has both shading and outline done.

Tattoos can be done in single colour which is usually black and is

cheaper or colurful using multiple colours .

The time taken to complete a tattoo usually depends on the size and

type of tattoo. Colourful tattoos usually take more time as different

inks are involved.

You can take your own design or picture that you want to be made or the

artist can sketch one for you.

The process is simple -

  1. The size can be increased or decreased and a print or scanned copy

can be taken for the same.

  1. The picture or sketch is traced using a tracing paper and carbon.

  2. The area where tattoo needs to be done is cleaned with dettol or

savalon and then shaved.

  1. Then gum is applied and the traced sheet is pasted on the area and

rubbed carefully .

  1. Once the imprint is there on the arm the real work begins.

  2. The needle is opened from a sealed packet which the artist will show

to you before opening.

  1. Ink is pured in a glass or plastic holder which is pre heated and

sterlised.

  1. The needle is heated and cleaned in warm water and is sterlised.

8.

Once done the needle is dipped in ink and the work begins.

  1. In between the artist will use water to clean the tattoo and scrub

with gauze and cotton or cotton cloth.

  1. Once completed Vaseline will be applied and the tattoo will be

covered with a plastic sheet or cover to protect from dirt and germs.

  1. Their will be initial oozing from the tattoo just like any wound

and then you need to treat your tattoo as a wound.

  1. Avoid direct sunlight, water and let it heal completely.

  2. U can apply Vaseline to protect it and preserve it for a longer

time.

  1. For people who take time to heal, medicines can be taken to heal

the tattoo faster.

Whatever tattoo you decide to get it done, think long about it as its

permanent and life long.

The only way of removal is through laser surgery which cost a lot.

U can cut, tear or remove a tattoo by any other means only laser

surgery can remove it.

Tattooing does pain and its more like someone pinching you

continuously. After some time the area becomes numb and u feel less

pain.

Tattoo can be made on any part of the body, head, arms, shoulder, back,

legs, waist, anywhere you wish too.

From my side I have mentioned most of the stuff, in case you have any

questions please feel free to write to me and I will answer them.
