My friends don’t you’ll think, that it is difficult for anybody to suggest or to give good advice on perfumes for men, because
MEN WILL BE MEN – will never stick to one.
I think so its birth right of each and every men to choose perfumes which he likes and which he thinks best suites his taste and personality, and rightly so. I am not here to recommend you’ll nor do I am writing this review to promote any brands, as choice varies from person to person.
But as you’ll know Men always would like to go for the best, yes even I would love to do the same, but caution my friend it won’t be a good idea at all to buy the perfumes at once, to know if you are choosing the best, first trying buying a miniature if available, which will save your money and you will be able to judge it yourself whether it suites you and your personality as you never know if you are allergic to some fragrance as it takes an 15 to 30 minutes for the perfume to react as per experts and they do recommend us all to buy perfumes in the morning as they say, we can smell things better in the morning and yes even we all know that the pollution level is at its lowest and we feel fresh at that time. If you have a cold avoid buying perfumes, as there is always another day.
I would like to advised you’ll to try the perfume on the non perfumed skin only, avoid on the clothes and even not on the cap of the perfume bottle as it is practiced in many departmental store and not more then two perfumes at a time, as it will be difficult for you to recognized the real fragrance of the perfume, which you would love to buy. And please don’t forget that perfumes last for 3 to 4 hours only, irrespective of their manufacturer.
And as we wear different clothes at different time and places depends upon the occasion, like we stick to formals when we are at work or on business meetings and we wear casuals when we are at home, with family and friends or out on date with girl friend. Don’t we.
Same should be apply to perfumes, I would advice you’ll to use light fragrance perfumes when you are at work or in a business meetings as strong fragrance perfumes are allergic for some people, you never know you might get ignored for that from the same people for using it and you should try to wear heavier perfumes when we are out with friends and specially on date with girl friend(If you have one) as it creates sensuous environment. And as per our Indian climatic conditions, you can use sweet and spicy fragrance as per your taste.
I have seen men spray perfumes on their bare chest just to avoid stains on their clothes, though branded perfumes are virtually safe but I would advise you’ll to avoid, as it is not healthy medically, instead you can spray it on briefs if you want your perfume to last longer.
Last but not the least, as you’ll know that pharmaceuticals companies advise us to keep the medicines in dark and cold places, same advice applies to our perfumes, only if you want your perfumes to last longer.
These are the things I follow while choosing a good perfume for my self and I hope you’ll like my simple practical advice and one more thing these advices can be followed by Women too, after all we are buying the same thing.
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WHICH I FORGOT TO MENTION IN MY REVIEW, DON`T JUST FOLLOW CELEBRITIES AND BUY PERFUMES WHICH ARE ENDORSED BY THEM WITH THEIR FACES ON PERFUME BOTTELS. jUST THINK AND QUESTION YOURSELF,
