Godrej Lowcare or Nocare?

I live in North Delhi and was looking forward to a solution of termite and cockroach problem. I contacted Godrej Hicare, oops! Nocare. The call centre people diligently took down my details and fixed an inspection date. Nobody turned up. I called again and was given another appointment with the same result.

Called up their call centre again, who promised to check & come back in two minutes. After two hours wait I called again and ultimately managed to speak to a senior lady officer. Was promised a visit the following day. Took half a day off from work, same result.

Spoke to an even more senior person and complained. He apologised, requested for another opportunity and fixed up an appointment. Around the appointed time, I was informed that the inspector is unable to locate my house, whereas it a very well known locality landmark. I called up the inspector, gave directions, and waited for him to turn up for another hour and half. Intermediate calls every 10 minutes to the inspector brought the assurance that he is just about to reach. After the fourth call I told the inspector not to bother any more.

I called the branch head, gave him a piece of my mind and gave up on the company as bad job.

While I have been fortunate not to avail their services, their quality is anybody’s guess. A company which repeatedly fails in its promises even before the contract is signed can not be expected to keep any after money has changed hands. Don’t touch them with a bargepole. Not even worth wasting a phone call.
