Let me start off with my pathetic story with bedbugs-
I came to Bangalore to join as a fresher in an MNC in 2007. I stayed in my room rented by my distant relative who was staying with his friends. Slowly did I come to know that the 2bhk was infested with bedbugs (till then I remember seeing a bedbug only once/twice in my whole life, that too in my school hostel). I was in this room for about 40 days and I moved later to a 1bhk in the same building. Unknowingly I did carry these bugs to this room. For 4 yrs I was in this building trying different ways to eliminate them but only temporarily. I got this room sanitized with different bedbug cure vendors about 4 times, but all case the joy was short lived and apparently futile. Moving to a new room was last of the option given the advance we pay is huge and the other painting charges charged by owners in bangalore.
But finally we moved to new room, about 2km from the old one, not before making sure we wash all the clothes and mattresses and put books etc in sun. We were happy for 3 months in this new room assuming we were done with those haunting bugs. But in fact there were eggs we carried even with those efforts we put. And these dreaded bugs and the cycle of getting rid of them, though different vendors started yet again. 4 different vendors in 2yrs time and with a hope every time we were left with only despair as the bugs appeared back in 2 months time. Again we searched for getting the room treated and this time in one of the reviews some person mentioned about a low profile vendor which worked well. I thought let’s give this a final try and contacted the guy BHANUPRAKASH of NAVIGATOR.
I told him my pathetic story. He told he will make sure the bed bugs are gone and will even give a warranty of 1yr provided I get it done twice in a span of 20 days (as any eggs remaining after first treatment will hatch around 15-20 days time). Me and my roommate agreed for this and got the first round done in mid-Oct 2013 and second one in end of 2013 Oct. Finally I am SO ECSTATIC to say bedbugs are not seen anymore in my room. He has given a warranty bill too.
NOTE: I am writing this review only after 5 and half months as I didn’t want to praise someone before they are really worthy of it. I did see one or two bugs twice/thrice, but I just took them and threw them in water. But I haven’t seen any after that.
I am not listing the vendors whom I got it done previously and didn’t work as I don’t remember their names.
