Rajasthani Folk music is best music in India and it provides immense pleasure and appreciated by all over world. The people of Rajasthan live peaceful life and do hard work in desert and rocky areas. There are many types of dance, singing, drama, puppet shows are very famous in Rajasthan.
The brief introduction of Rajasthani folk music will take you through basic of the melodies and techniques. There are a lot of folk music instruments are in rajasthan:
Ghoomer Dance: Ghhomer dance performed by the women’s on the auspicious occasion. This is very simple and performed by women’s in the circle.
Gait Ghomer Dance: This dance performed by the bhil tribals. This dance performed by the Men and women both. They performed together and on the occasion of some festibals like holi etc.
Kalbelia Dance: This dance is famous dance of Rajasthan. This dance performed in the bikaner and performed by the women and some peoples play the various instruments around there.
Puppet show: The puppet show performed by the skilled puppeteers. Displaying his skills and making the puppets act & dance.
Panihari Songs: Traditional music includes the women’s panihari songs which lyrically decries chores, especially centered on water and wells.
