Equity Master pretends to be great followers of Warren Buffet, but the ONLY thing they really do is to keep segmenting their service and ask for more and more subscriptions from suckers. For example, they started with Stock select; later Stock select was only for Large cap stocks and if you wanted tips on Mid-Caps, then we had to subscribe to their Mid-Cap service(more money to be paid to them). Then came their Hidden Treasure(Small Cap), and again more money to be paid to EM, and so on & on. Worst of all, their recommendations are few and far between so the gains are very limited.
They are conservative to an extreme, and even when the market was at it’s lowest in Aug - Sept 2013, they were scared of recommending anything of substance. Even at that point in time, everything was over-valued according to them. Their recco would be "buy xyz when it falls 10%, but xyz never fell 10%; instead it doubled!
Since Aug 2013, if you picked anything worthwhile from the stock market, chances are it would have doubled / tripled by now.
They will never admit their mistakes, but hide behind Warren Buffet all the time.
