So here is my few tips on touch screen phones.
1) Hard Reset -
This thing is basically do when phone has some random issues like not responding.
For this you have to press Volume up button and Power button at same time for few seconds after power off. It will take you to recovery more mode through which you can able to Hard Reset.
2) Hardware testing -
For checking your phone hardware if it’s working properly or not. Just download CPU-Z application from store. And start check for hardware and sensors.
3) If your phone dropped into Water -
As this is the most of the time. Just quickly remove battery if its removable and remove Sim cards and Memory card. Put your phone in Dry Container with full of Dry Rice. As Rice is best absorber of liquid. It will absorb all the liquid from your phone but it will take minimum 24 hours. After that your phone may ready to use.
4) For better UI experience -
Just download any launcher like - Nova Launcher, GO Launcher etc which will give your phone great look to use.
5) Phone Root -
If you want your phone with more customization then you have to Root it. But it may cause warranty of you phone. If your phone is not in warranty and you want to customize your phone. Just search on YouTube about you phone specific rooting. It will definetly help you.
