Thanks to mouthshut for running such platform.(philips company cheating public)I request all the consumers not to buy any philips mobile model especially s 308. worst worst brand. me and my friend who is in consumer council of a district bought philips s 308 last september(24/09/14).
Actually we were asking nokia set but the shop owner’s relative who is a north Indian guy(studio cell in alwarpet chennai) who misguided us and made false promises and pushed the philips mobiles to us.since we already bought many phones either nokia or sony thru the owner directly. this time the owners relative was sitting in shop and he want to make good margin and least bothered about consumer and that too regular customers. the mobile got strucked within one month we went there and said the owner your relative cheated us and they took my phone and did something and made it work. but after two months again it created problem. this time it hanged continuosly for a long time. this time their answer was different as if they are not responsible. now 7 months over and now automatically without touching mobile itself calling someone, operating music folder, whats up and sending messages, calculator opens and battery within 1 hour 100% battery comes down to 0%. we went and told to studio cell owner. he said go and give it to service center.
When we asked where is it they told it is in greams road. but when we went there it was not there and again when we called them they didnt picked their phone. atlast we went to state consumer protection office and yesterday we lodged a complaint. pls pls pls dont but philips mobile and waste your hard earned money
