Morning Star: Atrocious bus service

Their horrible service compelled me to write this review as I travel in this bus(PY054499, PNR 2936640)


Appalling Start: I had to travel from Bangalore to Hyderabad urgently for official purpose. My bus pick up time mentioned on ticket is 905 pm. The driver calls me at 850pm and says pick up time is 855pm and starts yelling at me when I tell him that I will reach by the mentioned time of 905pm. Then I get down from the taxi at silk board and run to the bus stop(just to save a few minutes at silk board Junction traffic lights). I reach silk board bus stop and the bus is nowhere to be seen. I call up the driver and the phone number is switched off. I get worried if the bus has already left without me. I call customer care who provide me with another contact number  verbally(not through SMS). It is 915 now. Driver picks up call the third time on my third attempt to tell me the bus is reaching in 5 minutes.(and yes he yelled at me for not reaching at 855pm).


Almost left stranded midway: bus stops at a point to pick up passengers. I inform two conductors that I am getting down to take a leak and would be back in a minute. I return back in a minute to see the bus has gradually started moving without waiting for me. I knock hard on the bus door repeatedly, then the bus stops. Conductor opens the door and starts yelling at me for getting down the bus. I politely ask him that he could have refused me to get down when I informed him. He says it is not his duty to keep track of who is boarding /de-boarding the bus. I wonder what else is he paid for.


Would update the post with experiences from rest of the journey once(rather if) I reach Hyderabad
